How Long Does Muscle And Joint Pain Take To Get Cured?

I ve been taking fosomax for over 6 months. I /ve been having worsening, muscle pain, joint pain- pelvic, femur, knee pain and pain along femur bone. It was so debilitating that I was having difficulty getting up and going to work. I couldn t even bend . I stopped my last dose October 25.. Started taking advil twice a day since November 3. Question- How long will it take for the huscle and joint pain to subside on its own? Debbie

Thanks for your query.
Seems you are suffering from multiple joint pain - Polyarthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is one of the most common causes for Polyarthritis.

I would suggest you to get yourself examined by an Orthopaedician for multiple joint pains . You would be asked to undergo few blood tests like Hb, RBS, TLC, DLC, ESR, RA factor, CRP and Thyroid profile along with routine urine examination. These investigations will help us find out the exact cause. Discuss with your doctor.
