How Long Does Pain Due To Incision On Abdomen Last?

Hi, I have a lp shunt with an incision on my abdomen. I have been having severe stabbing pain there all day. They are so severe they will stop me in my tracks and I am doubled over. I have had them from time to time but not this severe or this long. Should I be worried or just try t wait it out?

Hi,

If it is a long time ago you had your shunt put in, I suggest you see the doctor who did the procedure, as the shunt could be displaced.
