How Long Does Physical Therapy Takes To Cure Hematoma In Buttocks?

I slipped on some icy steps and landed very! Hard on my right buttocks about 3and a half weeks ago.a very large hematoma developed right after,about the size of a large grape fruit. The doctor is having me start pt therapy.been heating icing everything suggested. Just wondering how long and if,this will absorb on its own,I can t even wear regular pants only sweats its so large so frustrated:(

Hi,

From you history it seems that your hemetoma will take 2 weeks more to get subside, but you need to have regular follow up with your doctor. Because hemetoma at this region usually get infected.
