General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It takes six to eight weeks for complete recovery. Steroids will be the mainstay of the treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
