How Long Should I Use Clexane After Ankle Surgery?

Sir, I am taking clexane for 3 weeks now (that s post ankel surgery)... my doc is on leave currently and I am not sure if I should continue taking clexane or stop I still have 3 more weeks to go with cast-on and can t put weight or move my leg Pls advice My age is 36 and weight is 75kg, I m on 40 mg daily dose of clexane

Hello,

You can continue clexane until you are able to mobilise or move the limbs. As you are immobilised, you are at a high risk for developing clots and clexane will help to prevent it.
