How Long Should Tamsulosin Be Taken For Frequent Urination?

I am recovering from a colon tumor operation. After the operation I was on a catheter I was using Tamosulfin Iwas taken off the catheter - everything worked well. The MD said I need to continue on the Tamosulfin forever or the urination condition may return and may not be reversed. Is this true? Ed
