How Long Should Xgeva Be Taken For Metastasis In The Bones?

I've been on X-geva for 3 full years because of metastatic breast cancer in bones. Asked nurse how long I'd be on it and she said, "forever". First, is there a limit to length of time on these shots? Second, must it be every 4 weeks or can it be spaced further apart? Thanks, Sara

Ya you are on x-geva that is the best treatment for bony mets in breast cancer .initially you have to take it regularly every 28 days ,later it may be given on every 3 months .
