How Long Should A Diabetic Take Simvastatin/apo-metoprolol/apo-feno-micro/ran-ramipril/metformin After Having Heart Attack?
Hi: My husband had a heart attack in 2010, he was 47 at the time, he has been on simvastatin 40mg, apo-metoprol 25mg. 2x daily,apo-feno-micro 200mg,1x daily, ran-ramipril 10mg 1x daily, he is also diabetic and taking metformin 2x daily. Please advise us, we need answers to all this medication. How long should he be on this meds. thank you for your help.

dear madam I understand your concern on my opinion your husband should take all those medicines for life long.the reason is all this medicines will help in protecting his heart from getting further attacks. but he can change tab simva to Crestor 10 mg and stop feno micro also.but he need to take tab aspirin 81 mg once daily it's very very very important.....any clarification kindly get back to me regards ....
