General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is not good to stop lamotrigin suddenly or cold -turkey. Stop it gradually reducing the dosage by 25% and take it for two weeks. After two weeks reduce it again by 25% for two other weeks and so on.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
