How Long Will I Be In The Hospital After Hernia Removal Surgery?

I was just told my a ER Dr last night after they did a ctscan that I have a hernia right above my belly button. I have to call a surgeon on monday to schedule an appt. How long will I be in the hospital? I had bladder surgery and my uterus removed march 2014 and had the mesh put in.

thanks for your question....well hernia repair is just repairing a defect in abdominal wall...if you donot have any co morbids and you dont develop any cpmlication post surgery you can be discharged from hospital after 1 day of surgery....
