How Long Will It Take For A Fractured Bone To Heal Completely ?
How long will it take for a fractured bone to heal completely so as to return to martial arts?My right leg had a fracture (a mild one) just under the toe(i think its the sesamoid bone) about 4 months ago.I had plastered my leg for about 1 month and it almost healed completely.But recently I've been suffering from mild pain near the fractured area.And there's also a slight bend in my leg(somewhere near the cuneiform bone)..How long will it take to cure completely?And why is that bend there?

hello and wellcome to healthcare magic,it would take approximately 8 weeks to recover medically but to do martial arts it would take its own time ,depending on your diet
,please take proteinaceous diet ,like egg meat etc to recover ,and take advice of a orthopaedician and physiotherapist ,take care

Hi..., Any fracture of bone will take about 90 to 100 days to heal...i.e more than 3 months.
since you had fracture it is better to take rest for 3 months and then you can resume to normal work..after the fracture healing, the limb must not be stressed much, this will lead to again fracture... hence complete rest is need.. sesamoid bone is normal.. nothing to worry...
