How Long Will It Take For A Swollen Calf To Heal?

3 weeks ago someone ran into my left calf very hard pushing a wheelchair. The area was swollen for 2 weeks in my leg and foot. There is still bruising covering an area the size of my palm, and a have a goose egg under the bruise. How long will it take to heal? Should I get it checked by a doctor?

Hello,

I think you should meet up a physician and get it checked as its almost 3 weeks now and no signs of healing mentioned in the history. It must be surely just a muscular injury and will heal with hot water fermentation and use of stocking for the leg.

But to keep yourself safer a physical examination and x-ray will be good to be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
