Hi, my son is 3 months old who is having cradle cap and eczema. Doctor suggested rexizole b lotion and ketoconazole lotion for hair. For face he gave exomega crem and efficort cream. Is it safe to use for my baby? How many days i want to use this? This is a curable disease ? How much time it takes to cure?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Cradle cap is an inflammatory condition that is thought to be caused by fungal infection, this is the reason the doctor has prescribed the antifungal medication (ketoconazole shampoo and rexizole b). It is curable once you use the medications are prescribed by your doctor. These meds would also be safe for your baby.

The other creams are a mild steroid cream and an emollient (cream to soften the skin). The steroid is mild and both of these are safe to use. Eczema may recur. It can occur due to different triggers.
If you can determine what causes his reaction, it might be possible to control this rash.

I hope this helps
