Hello Doctor, I got throw off my snowmobile at 40 mile an hr.on my shoulder, back, head the cat scam show NO broken bones but a chip L2 lumbar, my question how long will it take to heal the chip L2 lumbar problem. I am 71 year old in good health, so far. Thanks Dr. Grief

usually it will take 6-8 weeks for complete healing.What you need is to avoid prolong sitting and also to avoid lifting activities.At your age you also need calcium and Vitamin d supplementation to strenghthen your bones to prevent further fractures in future.
