How Long Will It Take To Recover After Ingunial Hernia?

Hi I m a 4th year nursing student, I was a scrub nurse last 2 days with the case of Inguinal hernia. this will be my case study that I will be reporting on Monday I just want to get more ideas of discharge planning for Patient who just undergone the Herniotomy.

Herniotomy it is operation to remove the hernial sac.it considered clean operation,so no need to use antibiotic
but we have to manage strain condition early like cough and urine retention
Also patient post surgery must be avoid hard work and lifying heavy weight and stomach fullness.
