How Long Will The Bleeding Last After Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pills?

I didn t had sex but had oral but my gf in a doubt took 2 ipills one on that day and another on the next day and now she got bleeding and abdominal pain (not sivere)after 9 days. How long will it last...???? I m worried, please answer me what to do..??

Hi.

It seems to me you have developed abnormal uterine bleeding as a side effect of emergency contraceptive pill, this may last until your next period.
You may need some medicines like Tranexamic acid to control the abnormal bleeding caused by emergency contraceptive pill.
I advise you to consult a gynecologist to rule out other causes of bleeding like diseases of the ovary or uterus.
