How Long Will Tragus Piercing Pain Last?

Hi! I got my tragus piercing about 5 days ago,the area is a bit red, it is still bleeding a bit, and I have noticed that when I move the area around while treating it with aftercare it does hurt (I'm I applying the aftercare too roughly?), and throughout the day there is moderate pain on the piercing and inside my ear. I wanted to know if that is normal at this stage, and if so, how long will the pain last.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain swelling, slight bleeding and pain after 5 days of tragus piercing is not an abnormal finding and you need not to worry about it as it will get resolved soon..
You can apply a combination of antibiotic and steroid ointment over the inflamed areas..
Do cool compresses..
There is also another possibility that there is allergic reaction to the metal of the earring if you are not wearing gold earring as other metals are not inert and can cause reaction to water and air and release of decomposition products can cause irritation to ear..
So it will be better to wear gold or plastic earrings..
