How Long Would Bleeding Continue After Abortion?

hello i had a misscarage on the 23rd of december 2011 i was 16+5 days but babys heart beat had stopped, i had 2 doses of mistoprophol and baby and placenta passed the next day, i have been for a scan there is nothing remaining inside uterus. however im still bleeding and i have a clear discharge what this? should i still be bleeeding?

Understand your concern
Bleeding occur maximum 7 days after abortion. But you already scan the uterus by USG scan and no product will found, suggest no incomplete abortion.
So i think your bleeding will stop in next 2-3 days. Clear discharge may be amniotic fluid. It will decrease in 2-3 day and you will get fine.
But also rule out the infection by swab test as sometime infection develop during abortion process and it should be treated by antibiotic course.
Take proper rest, healthy diet with iron supplements, analgesic.
If bleeding will not stop consult the gynecologist again and do USG again
