How Many Days I Have To Take Ezact 90 Tablets?

sir, A monkey has beaten my lower left leg on 24th MAY and the Doctor has given me TT injection within 1/2 hour while I am in India. on 28th 29th I am in journey and to USA CLEEVELAND and on the coming day I had my regular worship and in the evening I had a brisk walking for 1/2 an hour. After 2 hours severe pain started at the point of bite. till 31 I have taken DOLO tablets as I have running fever also (101.6). today morning I have taken EZACT 90. pain gradually released to some extent but since 5pm it is again slowly increasing. my fever has come down and it is now 97.3. How many days I have to take this EZACT 90 tablets.Any other precautions I have to take please advise me sir

Hello,

Ezact is given for moderate pain and it is usually taken once daily. I will advise Ezact 120 mg once daily for the pain and Dolo 650 mg 6-8 hourly for fever.

There is no harm in continuing with 120 mg Ezact for another 4-5 days.

If your fever repeats then you will have to put on a course of a suitable antibiotic such as Augmentin.

Please consult your doctor if fever repeats.
