How Many Months Should I Take Arachitol Injection?

Sir, My vitamin D3 level is 10 against minimum 30. Doctor prescribed 6 lakhs units Architol ample for intramuscular one. This injection is prescribed to be taken once in a month which is in addition to the VitaminD3 6 Lakhs once in a week. Also one calcium tablet is prescribed for me. Kindly enlighten how many months I have to take the Architol injection cited above. D.Subbarao, YYYY@YYYY

since your vitamin D3 levels fall in category of severe deficiency, i will recommend you to take vit D3,both injection every month and oral every week in exactly the same way as prescribed by your physician for atleast 2 months.
After 2 months, repeat your serum vit D3 levels and further treatment is advised according to your serum levels.
