I just got over a 24 bout of food poisoning. My stomach has settled down and I can eat without vomiting, etc... I just feel a little weak. I am supposed to get a bunch of work done today and was wondering if I could take my regular dosage of adderall (10mg short-acting) without severe consequences. Or should I just take a 5mg?
Hello. Aderall is known to have sometimes gastrointestinal side effects like abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea and vomiting, but if you have not had any of these symptoms in the past it is less likely to have them now. It's not clear why you use it and for how long now. I would suggest that you take the normal dose (10 mg), and if you have any gastric pain take ranitidin, not omeprazole, and if you have nausea or vomiting you can take metoclopramide. I hope i have been of help. Kind regards.
