How Must Seizures Be Treated?

my son has been diagnosed with petit mal. he is 20 months and started epilim 1 month ago. he has been great since starting it. he does however get in a temper and throw his head back. he did this last nite and hit his head on the door frame. there was no blood r marks but he has had 2 siezures today. should i b worried?

I am glad that Epilim seems to be effective in controlling his seizures. The throw back of his head is not a common adverse effect of this drug. From the other hand it help improve the bed temper.
Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with his pediatrician and discussing about these issues. Some blood lab tests are needed (complete blood count, liver function tests, blood electrolytes, etc.).
