How Safe Is Renerve Plus Injection For Tingling And Burning Sensation In Hand?

Dear Doctor,My Age is 31yrs(Male). I met in byke accident 1.5ys back. Had injury to my Rt Hand Palm.Had severe Tingling and Burning sensation in hand. Over the time Tingling is stooped but Burning sensation is still there, Need to do Icing. Even I can’t pull the weight. Now Doctor suggested 12 Renerve Plus Injections. each Injections after 4days interval. Is safe to take this injunction?MRI IMPRESSION:Subtle PD /T2 hyperintense signal changes involving ulnar attachment of TFCC -- Suggestive of edema. Thin rim of fluid in this region.Thin rim of fluid in distal radio-ulnar joint Subtle PD /STIR hyperintense signal changes along the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis bravis tendon -- Suggestive of mild changes of teno-synovitis.Mild irregularity of the scapho-lunate ligament with subtle hyperintense signal on T2 weighted & STIR sequences. – These findings are suspicious for a possible partial ligamentous tear. Thanks In Advance.Ravi

hi,
i have seen similar cases which improved slowly over time..do not worry
firstly there is no significant ligament injury..do you still have a swelling?
do you have fevers?if so its good to take a course of antibiotics..
take lyrica(pregablin) for burning sensation..it helps a lot.and nsaids for a few days..
this injection doesnt harm you(only if you are allergic to it,avoid it)..
do physiotheraphy if doctor advises you..
wish u a faster recovery..
if you have anymore questions i would be happy to help you..

I find this answer helpful
