How Safe Is Taking Hibor 2500 IU During Pregnancy?
Is HIBOR 2500 IU pre filled injection safe to take during pregnancy? 5th month last is going on, however she is suffering from diabetes during pregnancy. So she is taking daily Actrapid (4 units) & Mixtard (9 units) Insulin before breakfast and dinner respectively. HBA1c result is 5.10 on dated 17.07.11. But in level-II scan on dated 17.07.11 (during last in the 5th month) in report there is all o.k. but FLUID IS LESS THAN AVERAGE (Borderline). Doctors advised that ARG-9 power and Anin tab. And also advised to take second opinion regarding to take HIBOR injection. Our Ist issue was dead before birth in 8 and half months during high B.P., dry the fluid and stop the pulses of baby in July, 2009. So plz advise us by taking all events in mind, what should we do?
hi dear, do not get anxious, just relax. HIBOR is low molecular weight heparin, is safe in pregnancy, since your previous pregnacy had complications,it is given to you. continue insulin as advised and monitor your blood glucose levels, and note down in a book, it will easy for your doctor to monitor and change the dose accordingly. about your scan, continue those tablets, drink lots of fluids, lie in left lateral position. you are in 5th month, so if you take precaution now itself, then fluid level will increase..i hope i have cleared doubt.
