How Safe Is Taking Prednisone For Polyomyositis?

my 37 year old daughter is experiencing severe muscle weakness, and pain. It started in her legs and then her arms. She has trouble lifting her arms . She recently had a muscle biopsy and we just learned that the biopsy did not show anything, as the Radiologist put it, it may have been a bad biopsy?? My daughter is being treated for polyomyositis, and was prescribed Prednisone steroids, she has been taking the steroids for a period of three weeks but there does not seem to be much improvement. Just a thought: she took a heated 113 degree yoga class a couple of months back, would that somehow exhaust her musceles? My daughter lives in Colorado. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam
I have gone through your query and read your symptoms.
In my opinion, if a course of steroids for 3 week has shown no improvement, the diagnosis of polymyositis needs to be reconsidered.
I hope that answers your query. If you want any more clarification, contact me back.
