How Safe Is Using Afrin Nasal Decongestent Spray?

I am a 47 y/o male and weigh 220lbs, 72 inches tall. My Mother died of colon cancer at 63. i am having my second colonoscopy since her death and am having moderate/severe cold symptoms today. Can I use Afrin nasal decongestent spray before the procedure?

dont panic
you can easily use oxymetolazine nasal spray locally before a colonoscopy

as it is a local decongestant it acts locally and causes local vasodilatation , so dont worry
