How Serious Are Nasal Septal Deviation And Opacification Of Maxillary Sinus?
I was assaulted at work by a customer who hit me on my left eye. As a resulted i visited a emergency room that did several scans. My outcome: 1. possible left maxillary sinus lateral wall as well as right orbital floor nondisplaced fractures. 2. near complete opacifiaction of the left maxillary sinus suspicious for fluid. 3. mild nasal septal deviation. I was told that i would need to see an ENT doctor but because this will be going through workers comp. I am having trouble finding a doctor that will A: take my type of injury B: will not do workers comp. I just want to know just how bad this is and what i can do to find a doctor to help me.
undisplaced maxillary and orbital floor fractures are not harmful opacification slowly clears up if it's due to edema or blood collection but u need to take care about infection of the sinus if u r careless septal deviation if more needs correction (SEPTOPLASTY )
