Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello
Good day.
Please don't panic. Hypothyroidism become serious when TSH is very high and T4 levels are too low. TSH level of 8 is definitely high, which means that you have to increase the dose of Thyroxine and take it every day.
Thyroid cancer is completely different and please don't worry about it. If you have neck swellings, you need to see an endocrinologist and arrange for an ultrasound neck

Binu
