How Should Wrist Pain Due To Forearm Metal Plate Insertion Be Treated?
my fore arm has 2 metal plates. I have pain in my wrist at times and when i rotate my arm and hold it for few seconds and bring them bck to d original postion it is a bit painful at the point where the plate is attached... what should i do?? surgery happened 9 months ago
i have studied your case and I think you are having either a wrist synovitis. In this disease there is accumulation of fluid inside the wrist and it is causing pain and inflammation. Other cause can be a ligament or cartilage injury. I would recommend you to show it to a hand surgeon and then plan it accordingly. You might need a arthroscopic surgery for it. I would also recommend you for short wave dithermy and hot water fomentation for wrist.
