hello
i have read your query.Actually babies who breastfeed exclusively are rarely constipated. Breast milk has the perfect balance of fat and protein, so it produces stools that are almost always soft. sometimes if baby is dehydrated it can also cause constipation.water and an ounce of prune juice a day for 3-4 days will work for sure if you don wanna give any medication.
hope this ans helps

Regards
Dr. shesh
