Hello, i can understand your concern. Certain parameters are essential to check your level of obesity. Height and weight would give us the BMI, along with this your waist and hip circumference are required. Kindly get the following tests: Thyroid profile, Fasting and post prandial blood sugars, lipid profile. You will require a combination of dietary adjustment and exercise to reduce your weight. Medications are advised only if these fail. If you are morbidly obese(prone to complications) i.e if you BMI is more than 40, surgical intervention can be considered. Start with 30 mins of daily jog and slowly increase your daily workout. Take a clinical dietitians consult who would calculate your daily calorie intake and make necessary adjustments. only doing exercise of a particular part like abs and thighs wouldnt be of that much help, rather focus on entire body workout.
