How To Completely Cure Irritating Cough After Acute Bronchitis?

I am having cough from more than 2-3 weeks. In between i got cold and chillled fevers also, fever around 38 degrees lasted around 4 days. I went to general physician. He did all tests, CBC, urine routine and urine culture and also X-ray done thoracic and chest both. Report is that in CBC i got CRP about 35 and in x-ray it has been told that i got sinus and acute bronchitis. Now i am using Augmentin 2 times daily frm 4 days and cough still persists which is very tough and hard to hear. It is almost like dry cough and some painful throat also there. I am also using Adol 3 times daily, and mucolyte syrup which is finished now. What should be done with irritating cough?

Hi thanks for asking question.
Noted you have bronchitis with sinus infection and taking antibiotic for it...
Here you have dry cough.It is by bronchitis.
Don't use mucolytic for it.
If needed dextromethorphan syrup or tab given...
Acidity also can give such symptoms.
Avoid fried and spicy food in excess for few days.
Hot water drink...
Fruits more....
Take care.
