Hi,

According to your history the points that can help you are:
- PCOD is a condition which can present with irregular periods, hypo or oligomenorrhea and anovulation, insulin resistance etc.

It is good as you said after taking the treatment now you are not having PCOD. But here what is to be remembered is, the recurrence in PCOD is very common. And as you are still having hypomenorrhea means less menstrual flow, better to continue the glyciphage for one more month with your doctor's advice.

Also you have to maintain balanced healthy diet, regular exercise to prevent the recurrence.
- Usually ovulation induction is recommended from either 2nd or 3rd day of the menstrual cycle. But some doctors may recommend from 5th day to prevent multiple gestation. As you have started the induction from 5th day, there is possibility for delayed development of dominant follicles.

According to your ultrasound report, your follicles and endometrium are still in the beginning stage and it may take few more days to reach the sufficient size for ovulation that is around 2 cms for follicles and around 9 to 10 mm of endometrial thickness.

Be hopeful, follow your doctor's advice and continue alternate day ultrasound examinations.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
