How To Conceive While Having PCOS?

Hi , We have been married for 1year. After 8 months we consulted infertility center and the reports were shown that my wife has PCOs. Doctor prescribed to take Metaben tablets and my wife also taking from Septem 10th 2013. Even no positive result in pregency. The periods are regular. The question is , if still PCOs are alive in the body why the periods are regular? and if we stop by participating in sex for 1month and continuing by taking tablets , is this resulted to eliminate PCOs in body?

Hi,

First, dietary restrictions are essential, then a hsg may be needed. If it is alright, ovulation inducing drugs may be required.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
