I had a medical abortion on Saturday. I started the process on Saturday morning and waited 24 hours before taking the second set of four pills to complete the procedure.
Between 30/40 minutes - 1 hour after taking the second set of pills I vomitted, but only once. I had been feeling very nauseous throughout the pregnancy. I'm worried that this means there wasn't enough time for the pills to work?
I have had a medical abortion before and I was passing what felt like much bigger clots and more blood then. I was only sick once this time, whereas the first time I vomited 3-4 times in 2 hours and the cramps which much more painful.
I am sorry to have to ask this, but I really hope that you can help me.
If you had proper bleeding and passage of clots, then the abortion has likely occurred. If not, then an ultrasound is advised to confirm the status of pregnancy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
