Hi,
Medical abortion can be done in early pregnancy until 9 weeks. Please remember, it should be done under the surveillance of a specialist after confirming the pregnancy through a HPT or blood test and noting the age of gestation and the location of the sac through a trans-vaginal sonogram. Post-abortion, regular contraception should be used until such time as you need conception. Self-medication is strictly contraindicated as it can lead to an incomplete abortion with heavy bleeding, infection and future complications like infertility. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
