How To Confirm Pregnancy?
Hello, I am 40 years old. I stopped taking the pill 6 months ago and since then my menstrual cycle has been varied from 27 days to 36 days, each flows lasting 4 days. My period is now 9 days late and for the past couple of days have experienced very severe cramping, at night and in the afternoon, have no pregancy symptoms apart from slightly sore breasts. Had unprotected sex once last month. Am I pregnant? or starting the menopause??

Hello dear,i understand your concern.In my opinion as the period is delayed pregnancy test need to be done. The breast tenderness might be premenstrual symptom also.It is too early to feel any premenopausal symptoms as they usually start around 43-44 years of age.If the test is negative wait for 10 days for spontaneous onset of period.Avoid stress if any.
