Dear sir I understand your concern.I am sorry to hear you have been having difficulties getting your blood sugar in the normal range now. I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications. In my opinion your diabetic medicines are not very powerful ones and as your sugars are very high i would like to suggest you to go for usage of insulin for few days.once your sugars becomes normal you can be shifted to drugs like glimipride and metformin. my suggestion is to go for daily 45 min exercise and good diet plan. you are very yound and needs better control to avoid long term complications. dont feel bad about insulin its only for few days it will make your pancreas to recover in abetter way and help in long term... I honestly hope this helps you as you work towards identifying the best drug and dosages for your diabetes. Feel free to come back if you need more information. I wish you good health. Dr raj
