Some tell like, even if we have good control of sugar now, during labour it may rise resulting in cesarean. Is it true. how shd i control the sugar level at time of labour.. pls suggest?
Hi, Good day Please do not worry. Diabetes alone is not a reason for cessarian section. We can effectively treat diabetes with insulin infusion or multiple subcutaneous insulins during delivery. Ofcourse, you will need help of doctors during laboutr to control diabetes during labour. You will not be able to do it yourself while in the delivery process. Leave that job to your physician/endocrinologist. Please stay calm. We can effectively control diabetes and if infant is not in distress or if there is no obstriction or proolonged labour, cessarian is not alwys required
