How To Cure Eschericia Coli (ESBL) Noticed In Urine Culture?
Hi, I have been suffering from UTI. I have burning sensation in urination since last 10 days. I have had a couple of urine test. In my first test WBC range was recorded (40-50). In the next stage my doctor advised me to have another test Urine Culture . The result indicated Eschericia Coli (ESBL) bacteria in my body. The test also suggested a couple of antibiotics, both resistant and sensitive. Before starting a course of antibiotic my doctor advised my to repeat my Urine R/E test and when I repeated this after 10 days, now the WBC level is OK, but RBC range is (10-12)/HPF. I am very confused what going on inside my body!
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have wbc in urine initially and now you have rbc. your urine culture is positive for E coli. So you have urinary tract infection. You need a course of antibiotics. Choice of antibiotics depends on your sensitivity test. Take antibiotics against which E coli are sensitive. Drink plenty of water. Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you. Thanks for using health care magic.
