How To Cure Abdominal Pain Due To Flatulence?

4 days with flu/cold like symptoms. Fever, chills, headache, bodyaches the usual. Just after the flu like symptoms subsided I began to have abdominal pain that has lasted 4 days now. It is very dull and feels like I ate something bad when I know I didn't. Favours but is not localized to the right side of my body, passing gas feels like it relieves it but only temporarily. What could be the cause?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query in details .

* The abdominal pain is in relation with underlying intestine infection
rather than simple flatulence which is a part of presentation of
current infection .

* Need to consult general surgeon , get basic lab tests for better
recovery .

* Guidelines till that time for better outcome

- Strict diet control to avoid all oily , spicy , non veg .
- PPi with anti spasmodic medications .

Wishing you fine recovery .
Feel free to ask any further queries .

Regards .
