How To Cure Abdominal Pain On Left Side Noticed While Passing Stools?
Hi, I am facing left side abdominal pain from past 1 month, and it increases while passing the stool, have no blood in the stools, Initially it was acute now it is less i am on ULGEL, pantocid L and rantac from past two weeks. i had undergone an endoscopy and the report was normal. he though also prescribed me normaxocin for one week, after taking these medicines for 1 week i felt relief but the stomach pain is not gone fully and ut recurs, also i get refluxes anytime i eat food. Are this symptons pure gastric problem and how much time will it take get recovered.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of not getting relief from pain in abdomen even after taking medication and normal upper GI Endoscopy. Also noted that you are getting reflexes after eating something. Hence all this indicates that the problem is not in the gastric apart but can be an inflammatory lesion somewhere else. Hence I would advise you the following: CT scan of the abdomen. Tests of blood, urine and stool. Clinical evaluation by a General Surgeon and further tests as per the findings. Take a proper course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and such medicines as advised to get a complete relief. IF there is an indication of appendicitis or so, go for surgery.
