How To Cure Abdominal Pains With Bright Blood In Stools?

11/09/11, Hi Doc.! I have started having a abdominal pains with the bright blood in my stools 24 hours ago and this is the

first time I have ever had this kind of condition. I thought first that I have had a food poisoning and this problem might go

away. It has improved some what, but there is the bright blood in my stool present. Should I contact my doctor and go to

the hospital withing next 24 hrs to 48 hrs. I appreciate your advise and opinion regarding my health condition right now.

Dear how old are you??? Have you taken food outside?? Is it blood associated with mucous??? Are you diabetic???

If you passing fresh blood it may be lower gi bleed like piles, fissure, angiodysplasia, CA rectum etc.

If is associated with mucous means may be secondary to infection. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
