I will advice you to first take a new scan since the injury is pretty old and difficult to judge the current scene of the soft tissues. Also , you need to undergo physical therapy , as that is the one to help you further along with medication. As Medication are symptomatically giving you relief, the better and longer absorption of the drug is needed and which can happen by regular exercises and improving the cellular metabolism, as by increasing the cellular metabolism, there will be a better absorption of the drug and also the better functionality.
