I am female. I am 65 years old. I have a pain in
my lower left pubic area. The pain is not sharp but
it is dull sometimes...It is not constipation. I am not
taking any medication and I am not sick. I do plenty
of exercise, I am active and I am not overweight.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Pain in the left pubic area in a female of 65 with good health, exercising well, without any history of constipation or medications can be due to one of the following reasons:
Left ureteric colic due to stone and/or infection.
Colitis o left side.
Left inguinal hernia.
This can be diagnosed by the following:
X-ray of abdomen.
Ultrasonography of the whole abdomen.
Clinical evaluation by a Doctor, preferably a General Surgeon and correlation with reports to get a proper diagnosis and plan a proper management.
