Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hey, yesterday I kicked a wall with the bottom of my foot, like right where the knuckle type things are (but not on the top, but the bottom). In addition, I punched the wall with both fists, however I only hurt the middle knuckle on both hands. And as of now it hurts to walk on my one foot and it hurts to touch the knuckle or clench on both of my hands. How can I help the healing process of my hand and foot and whats the quickest way? Thanks.
As what I understand that you have a direct impact over the bone this should be a bone pain. If the pain don't subside more than 3 days and swelling is takes the place than I will consider it to be hairline fracture. An X-ray might be needed if the pain and swelling don't come down.
For a good advice , I will tell you to soak the feet and hand in Luke warm water and use some tight socks and tight gloves to have a good compression which can allow the pain to reduce and avoid any swelling. Also this can make you functional as well up to 70%.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
