Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the following are the best guidelines for your grandfather.
- Maintain his hydration with plenty of liquids.
- Get a urine culture done and start prescription drugs of sensitive urinary antibiotics.
- Keep his blood sugar control with the help of his consultant physician.
- Balanced nutritious diet to combat the immunity level.
- Genital hygiene care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
