How To Cure Lump On The Cheek After Hitting?

Hi, my 23 month old son fell over and hit his cheek on his toddler bed. It resulted in a black eye which has now gone. We had him checked by a dr after it happened and we were told it was unlikely to be fractured. Now he has a hard lump on his cheek, almost feels like a pocket under the skin. What do we do???

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the lump could be secondary to the impact as a inflammatory swelling or it can be a hematoma or secondary to bone fracture. consult a oral physician to rule out the fracture.you can take anti inflammatory drugs to reduce the swelling after consulting the oral physician and you can apply cold and hot fomentation alternatively.. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
