Hi Dr Santosh, My son who is 20 months old has mild to moderate allergic conjunctivitis probably due to pollution or pollen. I was wondering if the symptoms are tolerable is it best to ignore it, or do you think treating it earlier rather than later is better

Regardless of age, a child with symptoms of environmental allergy who doesn't seem bothered by the symptoms does not need to be treated. Make sure the area around the eye is clean so as to avoid bacterial infection. Meantime, if your child is happy, we don't have to do anything.
