How To Cure Numbness And Pain On Little Fingers ?

I had surgery a week and 3 days ago, last monday, and everything went smoothly. But my pinky and ring finger on my left hand, they put the iv in my left hand and had no problems. Got it on the first try, have been numb and starting to be really painful. Is this something i should be conserned with and go see a doctor?
